Frisk hopes there's no fight. 

They want to be left alone, sure, but that's not the only thing they hope for. Even they can't just fix a--rivalry, a longstanding hatred, at least not when the opposing parties actually know each other. But they also hope they can...lessen it, at least a bit. So the Sandman doesn't try to outright kill--no, they're sorry, 'banish', with lots of beating and tarry blood--Pitch when they see each other every time.

(Of course, they don't know the whole story. But they can't imagine that would matter.)

The time ticks down in companionable silence. 

Frisk keeps their eyes on the sky--

--and they sit straight up when they first spot glimmering gold in the clouds.

That's weird and kind of cute.

"Yeah, for hot chocolate and stuff. 'Ll get some." They stand up and start heading towards the door. "You...should...stay here." If he doesn't, well, they'll just have to accept responsibility for what happens. But they hope he does.

[boogerman]

"What--what for?" What has he done wrong? He sits up, leaving the poor blankets alone. "I didn't do anything." Welllll, besides pet Frisk. Surely not wrong all of a sudden.

[dustless]

"...no, you just...forgot already. Lights, they'll hurt you, right?" they ask from the doorway.

Also their mom. But he seems to be messed up enough at the moment as it is. They don't want to get back into her not liking him somehow until he's...sober.

[boogerman]

"Oh. Damn lights." Good reason. The moment they leave the room, he pulls a bottle out from his shadows, where he can sense them there being heavy, and goes to town. Haha, flavor!

[dustless]

Frisk just gets the whole bag of them. The hot cocoa is monster-made, but they're not sure about just the marshmallows...they wonder if it'll matter. And also how Pitch is going to deal with the hangover if he can't sleep.

They come back after ripping it open, one of them in their mouth. Not just marshmallows, giant marshmallows.

"...what're you doing?"

[boogerman]

Excellent, that's what he was hoping for! The big fatties!

"I'm--I'm not done yet, see, not until it's gone. Why?"

[dustless]

"...why? I think you've...had...enough. Already," they say through their mouthful.

[boogerman]

"Because if I stop. It. It stops too?"

He's a spirit. It takes massive, massive amounts to keep the 'party' going. He holds out his hand for the yummy white fluffies...?

[dustless]

"...'s that super bad right now?" Adults celebrate so weirdly.

They pour a few into his palm, despite the strong urge to pull it back and keep it away until after he agrees to stop.

[boogerman]

He ignores the question, popping two marshmallows into his mouth and then flicking one right into Frisk's face, childishly. Hahaha.

[dustless]

They twitch and stick their tongue out. Blep. And then put the bag behind their back.

"Kind of rude."

[boogerman]

"You're rude. Everything--you think everything is rude." Flawless logic. He eats the last marshmallow and takes another drink, oops, bottle's empty.

[dustless]

"I only think rude things are rude." They wander over to the bed--still keeping the bag behind their back--and sit down again. "Don't think you're thinking too good. Booze does that."

[boogerman]

"Yes? Yes. And?" He reaches into his own shadow--there must be one, if there's even a little light in the room--and pulls out his laptop machine.

"Where did the marshmallows go?"

[dustless]

"So I don't think everything is. Like you said."

Frisk just. Shrugs. And leans back, pinning the bag between them and the wall.

[boogerman]

"So. I am rude and I'll be what I want." It's his nature and it's good fun, even when he is in his right mind.

[dustless]

They give his shoulder a poke. "You don't need to be right now."

[boogerman]

"It's funny and you know it." Looong swig. He won't choke, so why hold back?

"...Where are the candies?"

[dustless]

"Sometimes."

Right now, they are being the Responsible One. "Might be able to get them if you're...slower with those." They nod at the bottle.

[boogerman]

"Why?" Suddenly he's fighting back laughter, so that he can get the words out. "You think I have a little baby liver?"

[dustless]

"Maybe. You are acting super weird, Pitch."

[boogerman]

He nods. Quite observant of them. "Hours. Hours and hours. Dozens and dozens."

[dustless]

God that sounds unhealthy. "Really? 'M surprised you're not..." dead, actually. "...sick."

[boogerman]

"Spirit." Obviously. He gets all of the more pleasant effects, if slowly, and none of the bad! "It's good. For my heart, my rotten heart."

[dustless]

"I remember. Still seems weird you can be that...silly...and just silly."

...silly is a weird word.

"Kinda don't think it works that way." Chestpoke.
