(Continued from here~)
Frisk hopes there's no fight.
They want to be left alone, sure, but that's not the only thing they hope for. Even they can't just fix a--rivalry, a longstanding hatred, at least not when the opposing parties actually know each other. But they also hope they can...lessen it, at least a bit. So the Sandman doesn't try to outright kill--no, they're sorry, 'banish', with lots of beating and tarry blood--Pitch when they see each other every time.
(Of course, they don't know the whole story. But they can't imagine that would matter.)
The time ticks down in companionable silence.
Frisk keeps their eyes on the sky--
--and they sit straight up when they first spot glimmering gold in the clouds.

Date: 2016-06-23 12:24 am (UTC)"Okay."
They eat spiders. Spiders in dough, admittedly, but still. This is not the way to go about bugging them--and then Frisk has to duck their head to hide their smirk, 'cause that was a horrible pun.
(Fur is hard to clean, Toriel left her cleaning comb in the bathroom and is doing her best with her claws..)

Date: 2016-06-23 02:45 am (UTC)"Sorry I took so long." Toriel makes her way through the room to the couch, looking at the preview and smiling even more. "Ah--I think this one is new!" She has quite the thirst for new knowledge after decades with exactly the same books.
"'S okay." Frisk nods, expression serious. "I was telling Pitch that you like eating bugs."
"Frisk! I do not eat bugs. Snails, yes, but those are gastropods."
"An' spiders."
"Arachnids!" She bops them on the nose with a finger and Frisk loses their straight face. "Still, they are not bugs. Or even insects!"

Date: 2016-06-23 02:50 am (UTC)"Nothing shameful in eating bugs. People all over the world do it and like it. They're healthy." Haaa.

Date: 2016-06-23 08:36 am (UTC)"They are far too squeamish." Most humans do not even try to taste her pie.
go back to sleep
Date: 2016-06-23 08:49 am (UTC)Enough with the cockroaches, watch the bees. He does sit, finally, trying not to take up too much of the couch... and accidentally bump into Frisk.
sdfghjk no u
Date: 2016-06-23 08:54 am (UTC)The couch is huge, so it'd be tough to bump them even if he'd taken a flying leap...at first. Frisk is pretty good at taking up couch space.
idk, timeskip? (no u first)
Date: 2016-06-23 08:57 am (UTC)He keeps his silence. He'll be heard if he speaks, see, he can't narrate the show to them as he's done in the past to nonbelievers, not without being a pain in the arse.
ye /o/ (fineee)
Date: 2016-06-23 09:10 am (UTC)Not that they notice much after the first few minutes, enthralled with the making of honey, and the plight of bees in general. There are a few interesting scenes about allergic reactions, too, that Frisk's unaffected by but Toriel feels a chill from. There are many children at her school who have yet to learn if they have such reactions.
It's a pretty long one, too. At the end, Toriel glances at the clock and rises to her feet.
"I will check on the cake, though there is still time left for it to bake. I will be right back."
Frisk stretches and flops their head in Pitch's direction. "Think of other stuff to watch?"

Date: 2016-06-23 09:15 am (UTC)Tapping his foot, not looking at that hair Frisk has which is not being petted, "Something less educational and more for a laugh?"

Date: 2016-06-23 01:13 pm (UTC)"Dunno what I can watch if you like 'adult humor'."

Date: 2016-06-23 03:11 pm (UTC)(i've barely watched any of that tbh)
Date: 2016-06-23 03:19 pm (UTC)"This one good?"
noooo (I loved it as a kid but I am weird)
Date: 2016-06-23 03:22 pm (UTC)i am just terrible @ paying attention to pure comedies OTL
Date: 2016-06-23 03:52 pm (UTC)"The cake will be done in about half an hour. And that looks like an adventure," Toriel adds when she spots the title at the top of the screen.
Frisk shrugs. Action-comedy, they guess, and hit 'play'.
it's a classic~
Date: 2016-06-23 04:08 pm (UTC)So nice. He hasn't seen it in decades either, it's great how they can just summon it up for him with a remote.
i can see why omg
Date: 2016-06-25 08:57 am (UTC)Toriel has no such compulsions.
She laughs heartily at nearly every amusing thing, only wincing once or twice at the violence. Sometimes she tries to keep her voice down; she cannot stop herself, and is nearly in tears of exhausted hysterics at the end of it. She needs to put her head in her hands at the end just to breathe.
"...Was good," Frisk says to the credits.
obv I left out loads more ~
Date: 2016-06-25 02:45 pm (UTC)"Are we going to have to call an ambulance for you?" Ha!
:'> (i forgot the cake myself for a bit fuk. handwaves)
Date: 2016-06-25 04:56 pm (UTC)Toriel shakes her head.
Frisk stretches, reaching out to give Pitch a friendly armpat. Then: "Oh, the cake." They don't sound too worried. Alphys helped rig it, it turns itself off so won't burn food easily.
Toriel nods. Yes, the cake...
...it will still be a minute before she can get her voice or ability to do anything back.

Date: 2016-06-25 05:09 pm (UTC)"Forget the cake, it's ashes by now."
no subject
Date: 2016-06-25 05:50 pm (UTC)"No, no," Toriel says in a half-wheeze. "No, the cake is fine. If it were ashes, then we would have smelled it by now!"
She takes a very long, deep breath, and finally stands.
