Frisk hopes there's no fight.

They want to be left alone, sure, but that's not the only thing they hope for. Even they can't just fix a--rivalry, a longstanding hatred, at least not when the opposing parties actually know each other. But they also hope they can...lessen it, at least a bit. So the Sandman doesn't try to outright kill--no, they're sorry, 'banish', with lots of beating and tarry blood--Pitch when they see each other every time.

(Of course, they don't know the whole story. But they can't imagine that would matter.)

The time ticks down in companionable silence.

Frisk keeps their eyes on the sky--

--and they sit straight up when they first spot glimmering gold in the clouds.

They stare at him expectantly. At least he seems to agree? And nobody's come near dying.

...Frisk feels like they should be doing more. But they're not sure what.

The hat-tip gets a polite nod. Pitch gets a questioning look. What's going on?

Pitch is really too busy making bitchypitchy faces at Sandy to notice Frisk's curiosity, tsk tsk.

"I said it's fair. We have a deal, get out of here and don't come back."

Sandman himself rolls his eyes up at Pitch, then looking back at Frisk, shrugging, and pointing to the sky. Do they want him to go? Nobody cares what Pitch wants.

"...what's the deal, 'zactly?" they ask the air between them both.

"No nightmares from me, no dreams from him."

...See, Pitch already was doing that on his part.

"Oh." That's...pretty simple. "Yeah, okay. Jus' wanted to be sure. No...hidden...no catches."

A sigh, or is it a groan? Both? "For the last time, bug off!" Sandy's making him nervous like nothing else, on top of the hatred.

"Luckily for me he wants every kid to love him."

"...Listening the first time helps that. 'Specially if they're screaming, you know?"

Sandy gets a very pointed look. Yeah, hi, remember the first time they met?

Sandy immediately glares at Pitch, as if it was all his fault--and then some slower sand-signs follow.

Sandy, with two horses on each side of him. Sandy, whipping horses only for more to take their place. Pitch... Pitch firing an arrow into Sandy's back. Sandy dissolving into thin air.

...Busted.

Long pause.

Glance at Pitch.

"...'banished' him?"

Talk about awkward... aha. Ha.

"Oh, I might have, once."

It's not much of a perception change, really. Frisk looks....disappointed, but not particularly surprised, not even as much as they would've expected from an outside perspective. It makes sense such a violent, immediate reaction to Pitch for someone who seems like he's supposed to be the good guy there.

"...well. No more 'f that."

Disappointment, what does he care? He expects it to grow worse--if not today, someday. Someday he'll be hated again.

"You hear that, beachball? No more 'banishing' allowed." Heh. Too smug.

Sandy simply nods, cloud rising a bit. He has a job to do, and it never ends. Work work work.

But he'll keep his promise. No more dreamsand for Frisk.

Frisk takes a step back, drops down to sit on the roof again.

The sand-cloud spirals around and around as it rises, twirling its way into the sky with its rider. Bye!

Pitch sits down, not sprawling like he was before, trading the nasty glare for a more bemused look. So that just happened. Shockingly not painful.

"...no fight," they say after a stretch of silence. More than they were expecting. Definitely what was on the list of what they were hoping for, though.
