 ...it's better than the name implies, honest.

There's several friendly animal residents and shopkeepers, and the Mayor's secretary is always prepared to help! Along with Mayor Jules, of course...when she's around. She's busy quite a bit of the time, it seems...

Zero Town is a beautiful place, thanks to the Beautiful Town Ordinance, so there's all sorts of flowers growing in abundance, and trees with every fruit you could imagine. It's a safe place, as well! No matter how much someone swings an axe or shovel, nobody'll get hurt. The worst that can happen between residents are rude pranks with pitfall seeds and swats with bug nets.

Anyone can visit, or even move in. It's pretty hard to move out once you do.

Here is a child who is somewhat adept at rude pranks. But no one in town yet has given him reason to make use of them. So he hasn't yet - he does try not to be the first to provoke people nowadays, after all. But considering who he is, people usually don't hesitate to provoke him anyway.

He doesn't quite remember how he got here. He's turned up on a market day, when everyone is out and about and busy and talking to each other and the visitors that pass through from other places anyway. Right now, his attention is caught by a large field of flowers on the edge of the market square. Butterflies drift and flutter lazily over the blossoms, their wings brightly colored beneath the sun. It's a beautiful and enchanting sort of sight, at least to him.

There's so much unpacking still to do, but she can't stand to be at it for another second. Her silly brother has already wandered off with his notebook in hand. So Isara has decided to take a break for herself, as well. Alicia is still busy with the baby, but she'd given Isara some bread to take into town and share with the neighbors. So here she is, basket in hand and shawl around her shoulders, smiling shyly at anyone who passes by. It's an effort of will to muster up her courage enough to speak.

"Um...hello. We just moved in, you see, and..."

She trails away helplessly and holds out the basket instead.

"O-oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Who's there to greet her but a bright yellow shih tzu, clipboard in hand and voice slightly frantic. "I knew we were getting a new house, but I didn't know an entire family was moving in--!"

That's a rarity in these parts! Most people, human and animal alike, struck out to their small town as a taste of freedom or a break from hectic life all alone. This is the first family she remembers coming in since the Able Sisters, long before even the Mayor.

"I'm Isabelle! The mayor's secretary and assistant, and currently acting in her stead! I can introduce you to everyone in town and help teach you how to get money, and--and oh no, I shouldn't just launch into my introduction spiel. I didn't even ask your name!"

Oh my goodness she's so cute. Isara blushes a little, overwhelmed but not unpleasantly so, as Isabelle launches into her speech. She even giggles lightly as Isabelle proves to seem almost as shy as Isara feels. In the end, she offers a hand and a smile.

"My name is Isara Gunther. I just moved in with my brother Welkin, his wife Alicia, and their daughter Rosie. I'm sure you'll see them later on. I'd love an introduction and any help you can offer me. Thank you."
