"They play gently. They're a wimp," Undyne says, grinning with all her teeth. "With a big heart!"
Her eye widens. "Spear. Arrows are too small to be useful!" She looks towards the door and mutters to herself, "The hell did it get all the way under there?"
"Heh, I'm not worried about those stitches. My arms and legs have been torn off and sewn on again since I was born. I meant... all this." They run a hand through the muddy water. "All the grime."
Undyne lifts her foot from it, examining the filthy film that clings. "...it'll take work, but I'm sure they will."
She's all for action over words, usually--she's plastic, this garbage'll wash right off--and so she wades her way into the water. "I can help eliminate the worst of it! Especially in your hair." She's tall enough she can reach the soap abandoned nearby.
Her plastic claws cut through the bar like butter. "Yeah. You're Frisk's! And Frisk's toys don't leave the others in the dirt!" Beat. "Not for long, anyway."
Undyne rubs her hands together and reaches for their yarn.
She gets the stuff that's deep, right against their cloth scalp, as it were, where Frisk couldn't get so easily. Her claws make short work of it, and eventually, they tug an actual piece of...something that was on a plant at some point, she guesses, and tosses it over her shoulder.
"If you want hair pins or something someday, I know someone who can hook you up. Frisk doesn't ask questions about our changes," Undyne says eventually. "Which is weird, but they're weird. I'm not into that sort of crap, but I know some nerds that love to accessorize."
There had been something scratching Chara, but their oven-mitt hands were useless in trying to get that thing out of their head. They'd been just grateful they pawed at it enough so they could ignore it. But now? That nasty little twig is gone.
"Hehe. I'm not really into it either, but sure. Just in case I change my mind."
Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope. They'll get caught. Even if the water dried up, they'll drag mud around. Muddy spots from nowhere + ugly doll = haunted doll. Can't risk it.
"I... I think I better wait for tomorrow..." They trembled.
Her claws pause, just for a moment. "If you say so."
Undyne thinks she understands the problem. Nobody wants to get caught--a mixture of instinct and the bullshit that can scare humans. How would they react--how would parents react--to childrens' rooms being filled with 'spies'?
"Damn adults," she snarls under her breath. Louder, definitely to Chara: "Almost finished with the worst of the nasty shit."
She laughs--but not quite at them. "Don't worry about it! We're all in this together!"
A few more untangled knots and displaced dirt, and Undyne is pretty sure she's done her job. She drops back in the water and backstrokes her way close the the faucet and leaps a solid foot, landing on the spout. "Get under the flow!" Undyne orders, attacking the handles with a massive kick.
Chara obeys and stands beneath the faucet. WHOOSH! A whole cascade surges down the ragdoll's body and it's so exhilarating. It reminds Chara of those cartoons they see sometimes of martial artists meditating under waterfalls. They've been run under the sink a few times before, but nothing memorable. This, on the other hand, is awesome. Maybe it has to do with Undyne being so strong; so strong she can run the faucet on her own. Maybe it has to do with the fact she's doing this for them out of friendship. Hell, let it be both.
Heh heh heh heh. Undyne straddles the spout and swings upside-down, shoving her hands beneath the water. It cleans them and shoots the water out, getting Chara further.
There's an urge to turn it up higher--but she's learned moderation here. "Are you done? OR DO YOU WANT MORE?"
You're doing good with Undyne so far. :D

"I didn't have time get around much, but I found a glowy arrow thing near the bottom of Frisk's bed. Maybe it might be yours?"
=w= thank you!
