Frisk hopes there's no fight. 

They want to be left alone, sure, but that's not the only thing they hope for. Even they can't just fix a--rivalry, a longstanding hatred, at least not when the opposing parties actually know each other. But they also hope they can...lessen it, at least a bit. So the Sandman doesn't try to outright kill--no, they're sorry, 'banish', with lots of beating and tarry blood--Pitch when they see each other every time.

(Of course, they don't know the whole story. But they can't imagine that would matter.)

The time ticks down in companionable silence. 

Frisk keeps their eyes on the sky--

--and they sit straight up when they first spot glimmering gold in the clouds.

"I mean what we were doing. Or actual dancing."

...Naaah he didn't just say that, you heard nothing, Frisk!!

They did, and they're clearly a little more interested in the former. Lucky Pitch.

"Well, yeah, but we don't have any right now. Can you play...anything?"

[boogerman]

Ahaha.

"I can play everything."

You can trust the look on his face, he's a very trustworthy man and this is a trustworthy face.

"You gotta show me."

[boogerman]

Trust.

Worthy.

Face.

"How? You don't have any instruments."

[dustless]

THE MOST, CLEARLY.

They're going to roll with 'innocent until proven guilty' here.

"Not now..."

[boogerman]

"Some other time, then. I suppose I could steal a few things."

Always with the stealing...

"Can probably grab some from the music room...but you'd probably be able to find better stuff..."

[boogerman]

"You have a music room?"

[dustless]

"No, but the school does, and Mom's the boss of it."

[boogerman]

"Same school I cut the lights on?" And does Toriel know? Well, if he shows up during the school day again and screeches away on their guitars... maybe they'll start thinking it's haunted.

...And not connect the dots to the Boogeyman.

Their lips twitch. "Yeah, that one." That was fun...but they're not asking him to do it again.

Mostly because she definitely would figure that out and he'd get in trouble and Frisk doesn't want that. Or for them to, either.

[boogerman]

Once was enough, definitely. "Some other time. I had better not steal you at this time of night again."

[dustless]

Frisk pushes their finished plate to the side. "'S the weekend, don't think it matters."

[boogerman]

Not after last time, he doesn't say. Imagine if Toriel does come to her home and finds no kid.

"It's just as easy to bring the instruments here and put them back later."

[dustless]

At least the school isn't dangerous, Frisk would answer.

"Yeah. Gonna now?"

[boogerman]

"Why not?" he says, already off his counter-seat and opening a cupboard... it's shadowy in there, he can fade away.

[dustless]

"'Kay."

They follow him part of the way. They don't grab him to follow, even if there's quite the powerful urge. Frisk's either been with him or not looking directly at him when he left, that'll be interesting.

[boogerman]

A few minutes pass while he pokes around the school, having to find the music room first, and then he's back with violin in hand, all sharp grin.

Trustworthy face???

They grin back wide--they really do wish for sharp teeth, even if more their mother's than Pitch's, all grey and weird instead of glinting white.

"'S a song about the devil doing stuff with a violin. Did that story come from you?"

shut up I'm doing this again kay IT IS PITCH

[boogerman]

"Please. I'm not the devil and I don't write songs."

He doesn't even... play... he puts the bow to the strings and SCREEEEAK.

Frisk winces. Winces, not flinches. It's a difference in only the fact that hurt a lot more than startled them.

"Know you're gonna wake the neighbors up," they say through slightly gritted teeth.

[boogerman]

"You wanted me to play!" Tsk tsk, it's not working... he'll stop. "Nobody said a word about playing well."

[dustless]

"You have nice rhythm, thought you'd be able to actually do that good." Have some more blep.

[boogerman]

"I can't be good at everything."

Dancing will always, always be more attractive than playing the music, to him. Who would he play it for?

He tosses the violin and bow back into the cupboard, where they'll surely end back up on the floor of the music room. See, he was only borrowing them.
