He flicks up the invoice, pretending to double-check said part codes. He is actually side-eyeing their wings.
"There's no hurry back, though, and the truth is I wanted to stretch my legs." Quirrel sounds a little candid here. And bolder, encouraged by how casually they're receiving him. "Now seemed like a good time to say hello. Quirrel, of the Archives. Whether you were aware or not," because it would be understandable if he had slipped their notice, "you are now, for better or worse. An honour, of course!" He gives an accompanying cheerful dip of the head.
