They can't do much more than that from the outside, Wings or no. The armor is settled back onto its front in short, jerky movements. (It survived a fall down a full story, and it's armor, but letting it drop seems disrespectful.)
Hopping back off, Wings still extended, they use all those not-quite-limbs in a shrug.
Possibly. The Maggot had many limbs and controlled it well, but he must have had time to practice. I might be able to get inside.
