They haven't shared this with anyone but the one who gave them this journal. Lemm's reactions are watched avidly. They don't know what he knows of in advance. Less than they thought. It's completely reasonable-- better--he never encountered a Mistake or the like.

I haven't touched the documents on anything I didn't know. I prefer correct information.
Or at least not making it up whole cloth.
