Stubborn to the absolute, Lemm refuses to be defeated even now. They're out of the rain. That has to count for something. He tears himself away and paces into the back room, restless.

There is a series of muffled rummaging sounds and the occasional thud from beyond the curtain as Lemm goes aggressively hunting through his stuff. He may be taking out a bit of personal frustration back there.
