He should really start watching himself. It's just today that he's learned the truth of what and who they are, and so far it just isn't sinking in the way it should. When he looks at the Knight he doesn't see the Lord of Shades even when he tries (and he's tried, very hard in fact when he studied them earlier). It certainly doesn't make it any easier to remember his place.
